Add a rubric to an assignment

You can add a rubric to an assignment to explain the criteria you will use to evaluate the assignment and assign a grade.

Follow these instructions to add a rubric to an assignment. 

  1. On the Course Navigation menu, click Assignments.

  2. On the main Assignments page, click an assignment in the list to open it.

  3. Click Add Rubric.

  4. Click Find a Rubric.

  5. in the Existing Rubric list, select the rubric.

  6. Click Use This Rubric.
  7. (Optional) Select your options for the rubric. Note: Click the Edit icon to display the rubric options.
